Casen turns 2!

Below is Drew and his cousin Olive. They are 2 weeks apart.

We all got together for dinner and to have a family picture taken. So I thought that would be a great opportunity to celebrate Casen too. It was a fun night. He got a cool dinasour that roars, and walks with a push of a button, & a movie and new PJ's. I think in the future we will maybe have a party for him mid January. I'm thinking of celebrating on his actual day with going out to eat or something like that, but no presents or big parties until at least a month after Christmas craziness is over.

I can't believe how fast these past 2 years have gone by. I have been so blessed with a sweet son. I have always wanted to be a mom, and now that I have kids, aside from how challenging it can be, I have never felt so much love for my family. Casen is so sweet. He is also feisty, a screamer, tough, funny, silly, talkative, sensitive, such a sweetie to his brother, and is a mamas boy all the way. He doesn't eat much these days, but when he does he will eat eggs and toast, pizza, french fries, quesadilla, and occasionally he will want to site with us at the table at dinner and eat what we are eating, but that's once every few months or so. Otherwise he eats snacks. I love him, and he loves me, and he has made me a better person. I hope I can do the same for him. Remembering 2 years ago... I was 6 days late and finally went into labor on my own around 9pm on the 26th, then went to the hospital around 2:30am and gave birth to him at 3:42PM. It was a good experience, except for the painful contractions. It is amazing how fast they grow.
