Christmas 2009

Christmas was AWESOME! I'm so sad that I have NO pictures of the day. I was too excited about everything that I guess I just forgot. Darin gets stressed and anxiety when there is a birthday or anniversary because he knows he should get me something but doesn't know what. And I finally quit expecting him to know what to get me too. Well this year I helped him out. Boy did I really help him out. I spent a lot of time shopping online and copying and pasting pictures and descriptions of all different kinds of things like shoes, a purse, moisturizer, lotions, clothes, kitchen stuff, home stuff, sunglasses and more. Things I would love to receive for Christmas. I sent him the big word document and said, "Have fun!" So I got him some good gifts too. Some things I knew he would like or had mentioned he wanted. Like some framed pictures of our new family pictures for his office, a few shirts, a cool tool drawer hing on wheels for the garage, and a really nice pen for work. (He's been wanting a nice pen for a while) I kept it low budget too, cuz I knew he'd appreciate that. I was so excited for the big day and for him to open the gifts from me. As we started opening gifts I soon realized I had A LOT more gifts to open than he did. WHAT!? Crap! But I thought, "all these are probably small things", but they all weren't. Plus he loaded up my stocking. I was in shock after opening the first several awesome gifts and then he hands me the last one and I pull out a little green box......ladies, you know what this is.... from Tiffany & Company. I got goose bumps and looked up at him and started crying. It was a big scene. I opened the box that had a little bag and I opened the bag to find an awesome silver ring. I was in such shock. This is the type of Christmas I had always thought of, (that's sounds so cheesy, but true) and here it was happening. Daring totally outdid me this year. I wasn't expecting that at all. It was awesome. I took a pic of the ring so you could all see. It's unique, and I love that he picked it out himself and everything. So that was the highlight of Christmas for me. Maybe it was for Darin too, since he was gypped this year. Casen's highlight was a new power quad and scooter, plus lots of other gifts from Grandma's and cousins. He woke up at 7:30 and was back in bed at 10:30. Drew loved playing in all the wrapping paper. It was a great day spent together with each other and with other family members and a delicious dinner at my moms. I can't believe it's over and the New year is here.Sorry the picture is so blurry. I couldn't get it to focus. I hope you get the idea.
It's flexible too. It's like a thick chain link. Does that make sense?
Casen's new quad that he doesn't ride on as much as I thought he would.
Hopefully he will soon when he understands how to stear. He is at the drive ins. I love when Darin found him like this and told me to hurry and get the camera. He was so into Nemo, that he had no clue we were even taking pictures.

Grandma's sand pit in the back yard. Casen could spend hours out there.
He LOVES to swing. I wish I had a video of his laughs as he swings. Its adorable.
I put drew down at Diane's and he crwled right over to the toy basket and started picking out toys and playing. I love this stage!
Casen at Grandma Edwards house. He has a smaller ball like this that he loves to roll on his belly and fall off. He was trying to jump ontop of this one, but couldn't get up there. It was too cute.
Michael & Kim Came in town with their girls after Christmas. We had fun hanging out with them and wish they were still here. All us girls went out one night together and had lots of fun. Dinner, shopping & ice cream. We missed you Kelli!
LinnLee & I at the Suns game.
