Rolling over!!

Casen is a little over 10 lbs now. He is growing so fast. He's already outgrown some of his sleepers. Everyone told me that they grow fast, but I didn't think it would be this fast. Anyway. Everyday I put Casen down on the floor for the dreaded tummy time. He fusses almost the whole time he's down, so sometimes I leave the room for a few minutes without supervising him because I can still hear that he's ok. Anyway. Three times now I have left the room and he stops fussing so I go to check on him, and crazy enough he has rolled over by himself!! Has anyone else's babies done this? The doc said they don't start rolling over until 4 month, but somehow he does it. Crazy!! Also, he said momma for the first time!! Just kidding!! But he did roll over three times already!! Thats not a joke. :) Have a fantastic weekend everyone!!

Yeah, Mariana could roll from her belly to her back since she was 2 weeks old. She didn't start rolling from her back to her belly until 4 months. I think it's because their big heads are so heavy, they tip over. :)

This happened to my friend for a few days when her baby was 1 or 2 months old-he would roll over, but I guess he stopped after a few days and then started rolling over again at 4 months or so. Crazy.

Landon was the same way! He hated tummy time so much that he figured a way to get onto his back...he didn't ever stop, just did it every time he was in a position he hated!

The easiest explanation to this occurence is that Casen is a pure genius!! Well, actually, I think Amanda is right, their heads are so big and heavy that when they arch their backs it pulls them over. BTW, Thanks for the birth announcement, Casen is adorable!!

um no elizabeth doesnt even roll to her said yet. ha ha. shes 8 weeks tomorrow. i put her down for tummy time and she just lays her head down and falls asleep. i'll give her a little more time but she does focus on my face and smile now and that is a treat! oh and about the baby acne you were saying casen had, elizabeth had it and i switched to dreft laundry detergent for her laundry and baby aveno for bath time and i cleared it up! oh and dont use dryer sheets either. but even the johnson and johnson stuff made her break out!give it a try!
