Crazy Hair!
We went to the doctor this morning and she said he has a cyst. If it gets bigger or infected again she wants to remove it. So we have to go back and see her in 3 - 4 months. Not a big deal at all. We had a good night last night. I got 6 hours. He has a really bad diaper rash from his antibiotics that he's taking for his cyst, so I just got some good tips for what to do for that. He also has really bad baby acne and dry skin on his face. Poor little guy. We just need to get through these next few weeks and I think things will get better for all three of us. All those who said this gets easier told me that too early. :)

That is great news. I hope it just goes away. I love your attitude too! 6 hours of sleep has to help.
i got the miracle cream from the doctor for luke's rash and it is finally going away. if you don't already have ii, it's called Nistatin and it was the only thing that completely got rid of the rash. glad to know he's doing better.
I'm sorry you are going through this. I hope everything turns out well. I'll keep your family in my prayers. I wonder if it truly gets 'easier' or if we as parents just start getting the hang of things and eventually cope with it 'better'. Either way, Casen is adorable and you're doing great. Hang in there new momma.
Ah man, you sure are going to the ringer honey! I know it is sooooooooo hard. Just live it out. Heavenly Father blesses us mothers who sacrifice ourselves for our children. It is what we were made to do. You are doing GREAT, lack of sleep and all.
Even with all the problems he sure is the cutest little guy ever! I love all his hair. Things will start getting better soon!

I just got your birth announcement! Your baby is very cute!! I am glad you listened to your instinct and that your baby feels better! I am so sad I haven't gotten to see you yet. Kent had his annual work trip way early this year. I hope to see you soon! Congratulations and tell Darin hi.

Oh I feel bad for you and Casen, thats hard to go through...and all we want is for our babies to be healthy and safe...I so hope things go well from now on and you get sleep, and Casen heals. You are doing great new mommy! By the way, Casen's hair is sweet.
Oh I forgot to mention this to you. To help with Casens baby acne smear vasoline all over his face at night and don't be shy with it. I know that sounds gross but Lane had the exact same thing and it worked like a charm. Nothing else worked. His hair is to die for!

And Cambria was rolling over in NO time as well. Maybe it's that amazing Packard gene in 'em. Lol!
