Blessing

We blessed Casen yesterday at church. It was a great day. I had timed his feeding out perfect so he was great during the whole sacrament. The blessing was beautiful. Darin did forget to mention a mission is there though. Whoops. Oh well. That's ok. It was so nice to have a lot of my family there to support us. My mom gave Casen his little outfit. It was a little too big on him, but still really cute. It was nice to be back at church and see our ward friends. I still didn't stay the full block. I will start the full block again next week and resume my Primary secretary responsibilities. We'll see how that goes.
We were able to get out last night too. Our friends had a super bowl party, so it was good to talk to friends and bring Casen out around other people finally. It was funny because we haven't taken Casen out to social things yet and we were on our way to this party (way up in north Phoenix) and it was fun to just take a long drive somewhere as a family. Thats might sound weird, but it was fun. He is 6 weeks this Thursday.

What a cute little outfit! So... you said that you timed his feeding, and I'm wondering if you read the book Baby Wise. I'm reading it and I want to get feedback from moms that have used it.

You're great for getting back to church already! It took me a little bit longer to get back with Luke...I was so tired! Looks like you had a great blessing day yesterday. We were in Tucson where Porter blessed little Elizabeth! Your little family is too cute. Hope to see you guys soon!

He looks so good in his little outfit. I am totally mad because amongst all of the chaos of Anderson's baby blessing, I didn't get one picture. Ridiculous right?? It's so nice to be able to go out now. You are impressive for lasting so long!

alright- look at all of your family!! I can't believe he was already blessed. I will say a special prayer for him so that he will go on a mission. It will all be Darin's fault one day if he doesn't. HEEHEE!!!
I can't get enough of that cute face and even his hair. What a cutie...i can't believe I still have yet to hold him. I feel like the most terrible friend. Are you out and about yet? I hope all is well. lOVE YA

I have a feeling that Casen will go on a mission anyway, despite Darin's efforts to stop him! Is your family big enough?!? WOW! If I you don't talk to you before Friday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I remember our first little outing with Kinsey and feeling the same way. It's so exciting you're just starting your little family!! I was reading the comments and someone mentioned about baby wise... Before you follow it research it out. That is the only book of millions, that i know of anyway, that the aap (american academy of pediatrics) rejects. And the authors credentials are questionable as well. I guess a lot of babies whose parents followed that book were malnourished. So, feeding on demand is best- Think of it as when you're hungry- you're hungry no matter what someone tells you. Anyway I'll stop lecturing ;)
