5th Anniversary Arizona Biltmore 2009It's been the best 5 years. Really, I have no complaints. I mean what is there to complain about!? It's been great getting to know Darin better over the years. When we got married we had already become best friends, and it's an even better friendship now. I love being married with kids. It's not glamorous by any means, but when we celebrate our marriage, it's almost like a new beginning. We reflect a lot on what our lives are like now and all we have been through. We had such a fun night in Phoenix. You know sometimes when you stay at a well known hotel and you've heard a lot about it and what not, but once you get there you get your own vibe, and feeling? Sometimes you don't like a hotel that you were told was fab. Well I have heard lots about the Biltmore. I've been to their pool, but it was at night a long time ago and I don't remember much. Right when we walked in the lobby I got this really cool vibe. I don't know how to explain the place if you've never been. It's really cool. I felt a lot of appreciation for the design and build of it all. The architecture was influenced by Frank Loyd Wright. I'm thinking the right design styles are art deco, modern, sleek, and retro? A lot of the time I don't like old style things, but this was sleek and looked so hip, but old. I don't know how else to explain it. It was a cool place and it was even better that they upgraded us fro free to a suite!

Anyway, I went and dropped the boys off at my moms at 5. My brother Josh was to watch them while my mom had things going on away from home. We drove right to Capital Grill, very fancy place, then had mojo frozen yogurt, and in the morning we went to The Original Pancake house. I had the best strawberry pancakes ever!! While we were at Mojo yogurt I text my brother to see how the boys were. It was about 9 at this time so they were suppose to be in bed. He text me back and said that casen was sick and had thrown up all over him. Poor Josh & Casen. I had no clue that Casen was sick. He was fine all day. We didn't let that ruin our night though. We knew he was in good hands and my mom took over when she got back from where she was to take care of Casen. She said he was up a lot at night still puking. So sad!! After breakfast I headed home, actually it was about noon. So when I got home Casen had gone to sleep at 11 and it's 2:30 and he's still asleep. I'm glad he's getting some much need rest. It was a great Anniversary despite all the sickness.

Man, I'm not a very good writer. I'm all over the place. I'm not very good at putting sentences together that make sense. I hope you all don't get annoyed when you read my posts. Sorry!
