A super fun girls night that made me feel like I was back in Jr High. We did jumps, and threw a few girls in the air, and I even did the splits! It was crazy!I wish I had remembered to take pictures while out with my sister Emilee and friends on her 25th birthday last week. We had so much fun at PF Changs & shopping in Scottsdale and Ocean Blue for dessert. We didn't want to go home at 10, so we all decided to make a trip to Wal-mart, and it was the highlight of the night. It's so much fun to be able to take our time without kids and look at everything (not to mention buy everything too).
Lately (meaning the past week) I've been on a crazy decorating kick. I want to make lots of changes in my house. Rearranging, some remodeling, redecorating & new paint. I need to spice it up a bit since I'm home all the time these days and look around and think what I can do to change things. The hardest thing is not having the funds to do this. The paint and other small redecorating isn't the problem. It's the major redo's that will cost thousands. I either need to get another job if I want to make these changes when I want to (right now) or be patient and find cheaper fixes and cheaper home decor stores. I seriously need a chill pill. I'm going crazy at home looking at ideas online and for furniture on Craigslist. Anyone have any ideas of decor places that are reasonable? Maybe somewhere not around here since I know all the ones close by. And does anyone know where I can get a bottle of chill pills?

Hobby Lobby and Kirklands are my fav's. You've prob already been to those though.
Hobby Lobby is my favorite, too! I am the same way with decorating and it drives Jake nuts!! I just re-painted our whole downstairs one wall at a time so it wasn't too overwhelming. I've been at it for about 2 months now since I dont have much time to devote to it.

Darling BEAUTIFUL pictures- gosh girl, that red looks so good on you (suit). Your boys are going to be mistaken for twins soon! I give it another year.
As for chilling...maybe come hang out with me? I've been done with home decor shopping for about 2 years now. Don't even care to look (it's a WONDERFUL feeling) now as for clothes...HMMM...DIFFERENT STORY. (i've had some FUN lately in that dept...come over and see the new additions to the wardrobe!)
Maybe lunch soon? I'm feeling that coming on. Haven't seen Tiffany FOREVER. Maybe we all could get together.
Oh my mind is constantly reeling with decorating and crafting ideas and it drives me nuts that I don't have the money for it. I totally want a job to pay for my wide eyes, but haven't found one and definately don't know how to chill! :)
LOVE Hobby Lobby, Home Goods, and Real Deals...I am guessing you have already been to all 3 of those places :) I just keep going back, since their stuff is always changing... :)
i am right there with you, i have been painting since everyone left last weekend! the funds are a major issue also. I want nice stuff and I might just have to wait so I don't have to sustitute the cheap in between and buy it all twice. where did you guys get your desk? I also need another consultation in a few weeks when all the walls are painted and bare. maybe we will have to have a play date
