What's been going on lately?

These are not in order.
Handsome little devil all ready for church.

Throw up! Lot's of Casen's throw up, not because of the stomach flu, but apparently too much apple juice! Whoops! Poor buddy tripped and fell on Sunday night. I took out an appliance from a bottom cupboard and set it on the tile for a minute, and here comes Casen, trips and falls right on it!! He is not wearing a band aid in this pic. It's a scrape, then a cut close to his lip. Poor kid was bleeding a lot, and I was scared we had to take him in. Thank goodness we didn't need to. My family was all on their way over to have dinner and watch 24. It's looking a lot better today.


We had a closet put in last week. I'm so excited to have more storage in our house!!
This is the only before picture I could find. It's cut out off the kitchen on the left where the folding table and chairs are. And below is the after. It looks exactly like the hall closet we already have.
Went to the doctor and saw the baby kick on the screen and felt it at the same time. So fun!! What's not so fun is step on the scale especially after the Holidays are over!! I know, I know, I'm pregnant and I'm suppose to gain weight. That's what everyone is telling me. "Don't beat yourself up, Alyssa!" At least I've only gained half of what I had when I was this far along with Casen.

The baby is kicking like crazy these days. It's fun to see my belly jump and have Darin feel and be a part too. Casen is so much fun!! He's so playful and happy. I love his big smile with his 6 teeth!! He talks a lot and will repeat Dada and mama back to me when I say them. We are working on waving "by by" and giving kisses. He loves to play with his trucks and all kinds of balls. :) He's a great sleeper, eater, walker and loves to find the home phone or remote and play with it. (which is a no no) and when he finds it, he will automatically look at one of us cause he knows he's not suppose to touch them. He got in trouble yesterday at the gym daycare. He kept pulling the little girls hair. He doesn't understand that he shouldn't or that it hurts them. We will have to work on that. I would not trade being his mom for anything. I love it!

Casen & I went to the zoo on Monday with some friends, Lia & baby Carson Gardner and our new neighbor, Casen's new BF LJ Johnson and his mom Camille. I worked with Lia & Camille at Stonebridge and Camille just moved in right across the street. I love it. Casen & LJ are a week apart. They both have big blue eyes and blond hair. I'm so excited for them to grow up together. The zoo was fun. It was mostly for us moms, I guess. The boys just enjoyed the long stroller ride through the park. The weather couldn't have been more perfect.

Darin baptized our niece Lindsey Hepworth on Saturday. It was such a great baptism. Lindsey was so shy around everyone. She's such a sweet and adorable girl. Darin was touched that she asked him to baptize her. It was a sweet experience. After the baptism, I went to my sister in law, Cece's baby shower. Her and Clark (Darin's oldest brother) live in Utah, so she was here for the weekend and her sisters threw her a shower. She's due end of April. She is so cute!!

Cute Mesa home for rent!! Yes, our Mesa home is available for rent again. The renters are moving out tomorrow, actually. I will be making my way over to that area later this week to do some cleaning and hopefully visit some friends!! (Brooke, Jeanette!!, I miss you guys!) Anyway, if your interested or know anyone who needs a home to rent, let me know.

I'm staying very busy lately. I'm still getting to the gym. Not 5 days a week, like I was in the beginning, but at least 3 days, which I think is fine. Aside from needing to prepare a rental house, I am in charge of a FHE packet group, and I am hosting my Bunco group this month. It's been busy around here, but fun.
