Saturday
It was such a beautiful day. I got up early and headed out to some garage sales. Darin slept in and woke up with Casen and fed him breakfast. When I came home we gave Casen a haircut and decided to go outside and enjoy the weather, so we went for a family jog. Last week I went jogging, I had some contractions, so I was worried that I might again, but I was fine. It was so fun to jog with Darin & have Casen in the jogging stroller. Casen took a nap when we got home and later we went to Coasta Vida, then to the Boat Show in Phoenix. It was such a great day. We had a family dinner at Stacey's house, (Darin's sister) which we were an hour late to. I thought it was at 6! oops! It's always nice to see family. We started eating and Casen got fussy and wouldn't eat very much. I figured he was just really tired since he didn't take an afternoon nap. He kept crying and laying his head down on me, which he never does, so I took him in another room to see if he'd fall asleep on me and he did!! I had Darin grab the camera cause that never happens! After about 30 minutes we started to get up and leave to go home. Casen woke up and was really fussy. I handed him to Darin so I could gather our things and this is what happened!!.....
He got so sick! He threw up three times all over Darin. Stacey was so nice to help clean everything up. We gave him a bath there then made our way home with no accidents and put him to bed with a towel. He slept all night, thank goodness and woke up crying, which never happens either.... so I went in and found his bed COVERED in poop! POOR GUY!! I yelled for Darin who was so nice to help me with everything. We got him cleaned up and Darin cuddled him and rocked him while I cleaned up the huge mess in his bed. It just breaks my heart to have a sick baby! This pic was him an hour after he woke up. He seems fine, but I'm sure it's because he had nothing left in him to throw up or poop! Oh, the joys of parenthood!!
Other fun things lately.... Park date with cousins where of course he bumped his head for the third time in the same spot on the outside grill. He was enjoying being outside and just walking around, with his head down, and walked right into the grill. I guess it's true what they say about little kids being made of rubber.
OUCH!

Oh, I guessed he was sick when you said he fell asleep on you like that. Even though I hate to see them sick, it's nice to get a little cuddle time once in a while.
He looks so much like a Haggarton... more and more as he gets older I think!
so sad when they get sick... and that looks like a lot of puke from such a little guy, Braxton still hasn't thrown up but the 1 day he was sick I was in heaven because he cuddled with me all day!!
poor Casen! and poor Darin too- that looks disgusting!
oh I'M LAUGHING SO HARD RIGHT NOW!!!! I'M JUST SO GLAD IT'S YOU AND NOT US! WE'VE HAD OUR FAIR SHARE OF THOSE OVER THE YEARS!! HAHAHAHA.
That is so sad! poor little guy. its so sad when their sick! poor darin too. hopefully he feels better soon!

poor darin! that is disgusting. that may be the very thing that puts me off having children for a few more months!

Hey I just got thrown up on today to be exact. Not fun. I don't think I own any nice clothes anymore. He sure is getting big.
jogging!!oh i wish i had some of that energy during pregnancy. i dont think i ever got to say congrats on being prego again and how fun that these boys will be so close!i wish i would have got the memo this time now im having to go thru a few summer months and im not excited for the heat.
