Walking, Running, Twilight & more Gardening

First off, CASEN IS WALKING!! It's seems like just yesterday he learned how to crawl. I started helping him walk around the house by holding both of his hands, and the he kept pulling himself up onto things, and before we knew it, he was trying it on his own. He's still trying to figure out how to stand up again when he falls without having to crawl to something and pull himself back up. It's been so fun to watch him learn this.

RUNNING......

Darin & I went and ran a 5K on Saturday morning. It was pretty fun. I signed up to run with 4 other girls from my gym. One of them my really good friend, Amber and another my sister in law Heidi. The other two I had met at the gym, Kristina (who I stoll the group pic from) and Lavinda. Anyway, it was in Scottsdale, we ran through Horse trails and at the end you jump in this huge mud pit then finish. I avoided as much mud as possible though. My sweet group stayed with me the whole time, no matter how slow I was. I think I did pretty well and I didn't hold them back too much. Thanks guys!! Darin was in a group of four guys who are all cops and in excellent shape. Darin of course had no problem keeping up with them. We had a good time, and I look forward to more races in the future.

TWILIGHT!!

I was so excited to go see this movie. It was so much fun to go with my mom and sisters. I thought overall it was good. It could have been better, but oh well. I really liked it. There were lots of funny parts and romantic parts. The funniest part to me was anytime that Jasper was on the screen. I couldn't help but crack up. I'm hoping the sequels will be directed a little better.

FINISHED GARDEN.....

Thanks to my awesome husband our garden is now finished. yesterday after our run when we got home I crashed. I was so tired, and what better time than when Casen is asleep too. After a while I was wondering why it was so quite. Darin had left to go get a rota tiller at home depot. He was so excited about it, he spent the rest of the day outside finishing the garden. All of our fruits and vegetables are now planted. Such a relief.

ONE LAST THING....

I just have to brag about my find. I went over to Cortate furniture to order a chair for our bedroom, and they had one in there that was cute. I asked the lady if someone had brought it back or something, and she said they have had it for a year and no one claimed it. They just opened it last week. She said she would sell it to me for $125!!! SCORE!! I was planning on ordering a chair and ottoman that day and spend over $700, but only ended up spending $350, for the chair and ottoman. I was so excited!! Wouldn't you be!
