Casen Tyler Edwards
We are so thrilled to have this spirit finally in our arms. He is so precious. The labor and delivery were pretty routine. I put myself into labor by putting all my Christmas decor away on Wednesday night. We went out to eat and that's when I felt something coming. My contractions were slightly starting to hurt. They kept progressing and we ended up going to the hospital at 2:30am. I was only a 1 at this point, but I could not bare the pain! I couldn't believe how bad it hurt! They kept me anyway because the baby was responding differently to my contractions. I was so glad to hear that I could stay and that I could get my epidural at any time I wanted it. I got into the delivery room and soon after that, not even a 2 yet, I was getting an epidural. It felt so much better. That was probably somewhere between 7 - 9 am, Thursday. After that things went a little slow, but good, and later that afternoon I started pushing and 30 minutes later Casen was born. He had the cord wrapped around his neck twice, which is why he was responding to my contractions earlier. It's crazy that its all over. It seemed like it was never going to come. Plus we had to stay an extra night at the hospital. We had to wait for Casen to get circumcised. I was so anxious to take him home and show him where he lives. We came home yesterday around 3pm. It turned out to be a great experience overall. I feel so blessed to have such a perfect little baby in our home with us. I have had a lot of energy. I know I should probably sleep when he sleeps, but I'm not yet. I'm way sore, but that didn't stop me from cleaning the kitchen yesterday right when we got home. I know, I'm crazy! I don't know where the energy is coming from. It will all probably catch up to me soon.

I agree... he is really a good looking baby! In the picture of you two, your hair matches. :) I know what you mean about all the energy... I had that with my first, I didn't want help from anyone and seemed to function well with only 2 hours of sleep... I slowed down with each additional baby.
He is so cute. Congrats. Glad everything went well. Enjoy the energy while you have it!
He is adorable! I'm so glad that he came. My little Catcher came a week early so I have been so anxious for every other pregnant lady I know to have their babies. I love all that hair, so cute!

Well worth the wait for sure! He is a handsome little guy with great hair! It looks like you styled it in a mohawk. Their hair just does whatever it wants at first. You look great! I'm glad you have energy and I'm glad the labor and delivery was smooth. Hope to see you guys soon!

Congrats! You will be the best mom! Glad to hear that labor went well! The epidural is a life saver, huh? Casen is adorable! I cannot believe how much hair he has! Thanks for posting pics so we could all enjoy!
OH MY GOODNESS! He is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute!!!!! I seriously think he is the cutest little baby boy newborn I've ever seen (excpet Alec, of course). What a doll! He is like a little peanut of absolute yumminess. I just wanna love him!
Oh and that HAIR and the highlights in it. What is going on here, he is stylin! I love his lips. And his coloring is perfect. So cute Alyssa dn Darin. Congratulations. Casen is a beautiful name also.
ok, sorry for another comment but I keep thinking I'm done but I'm not. If you download www.picasa.com you can get all the reds out of the eyes and do all sorts of cool things with your pictures. I recommend it.
Landon is 18 mos. and still doesn't have that much hair. I think he is a little jealous! What a cutie! Glad you are all home now!

Yea Finally he came. I'm so glad that all went well with the delivery. I so wish my kids came out with hair like his. He is very cute.
