St. George
We had lots of fun in St. George. It was a very short trip, but well worth it. We drove 7 hours, checked into our hotel then went straight to Tai Pan where we spent close to 3 1/2 hours shopping. If you've never been there, just picture a place as big as Costco, but with home decor. It's the worlds largest boutique. It's wonderful. I was shopping around and I was passing this older lady, and she said, "I hope heaven looks like this". I thought that was so funny. A few times while shopping I got a little overwhelmed and had to really think hard about my house and what I needed. I think I got more Christmas stuff than house stuff. my mom & I would split up and then find each other again later with tons more stuff and just pray that it would all fit in my trunk. Plus we had Emilee & Julie's stuff too. It all did fit, and I'm still unpacking things and putting them away. I felt I got great deals and didn't spend as much money as I thought I would.

My mom, Emilee & meAfter we shopped, we were so tired. My feet were throbbing. So we went to dinner, and went to bed. The next morning we went to the temple there. It was so beautiful. They were setting up for Christmas. Lots of people were putting up lights. It's such a pretty temple. After we visited there, we went back to Tai Pan. Yes, we went back to shop. I was just feeling like I needed to scan just one last time in case I missed anything. We each ended up getting a few more things and we were all satisfied. Overall it was worth the long drive, especially being with my mom and sister Emilee and Julie of course. They made it a very fun trip.
Here are just a few things I got....

A bunch of ornaments and a new tree skirt.

A new fruit basket for my Kitchen Island

Two ceramic candle holders for our bedroom and a cookbook holder.

Christmas garland for the fireplace mantle

I don't know why my computer does that!
I'm so jealous! You're making me very anxious to see your house someday.
I think that I would be in love with that store. Have you ever been to Hobby Lobby? They sound really similar. There's only one in AZ, and it's in avondale, but they are building one in Gilbert on Greenfield and the 202. I think it will be done next year. THeir website is a little ghetto, but the store is seriously divine. Happy Thanksgiving!!
