Third Anniversary Weekend

We had a really good time with our friends Brian & Lanae Jones this past weekend. They invited us to Ramona California, which is about 45 minutes inland from San Diego. It was beautiful weather. Brian's aunt has a time share at a condo there, so we used that. The town was sort of small and the condo had a full kitchen, so we ended up buying all of our groceries and just eating out a few times. I like doing that. I think its fun to all cook together on trips like this. Much cheaper too. The weekend was relaxing. The guys played tennis, surfed, and golfed, while Lanae & I went grocery shopping, hit shops on the beach, hit the spa for a facial and massages, and went to get pedicures. We did get to spend a lot of time with our husbands too. :) We went to church on Sunday, and after church we visited a smaller town about 20 minutes north of where we were staying, called Julian. This town was adorable. Cute little shops. They are known for their apples in Julian, so of course after we had a picnic off the side of the road we headed for a piece of apple pie & ice cream, and it was the best I've ever had. Overall, it was a very fun weekend and we are glad our friends invited us to be with them. Thanks Brian & Lanae! When we got back into town on Monday evening, Darin & I went to the Cheesecake Factory. We would have got somewhere a little nicer, but we had been driving for a long time already so we figured we'd just go somewhere relatively close. I just love being married to Darin. Everyday is so wonderful with him. He is truly the best thing that ever happened to me! I love you Darin!
