Ultrasound & a little Venting
Today I went in for an ultrasound. Little Man looks cute in there, but I wish he would come out and let us see him for real. I went in to be measured and see how much the baby weighs. Doc wants to make sure this one isn't bigger than Casen was (7.14) But the U-tech said he looks to be 7lbs, so I have to wait for Thursday and see the doc and talk about what the next step will be for me. I'm crossing my fingers for an induction to be scheduled, but I really don't know. He wasn't even in the office today so I couldn't talk to him. He told me that he won't have me go over my date, but I'm getting nervous. I'm just so uncomfortable. It hurts to walk. I'm sore, and I'm just plain ready to have this baby. It would be really sad if he told me to wait till next week. I will cry to his face. Ugly cry too!
So to start my day off today Casen is pretty cranky since he woke up. He didn't eat a lot of breakfast. I had a brunch I wanted to go to at 9:30, so we got ready for that. My body has felt like it's 110 degrees since I woke up. Anyway, I'm just not feeling the best today. Plus I watched Casen fall down a long flight of stairs at my friends house. She was watching him for me while I went and got my ultrasound which was at 11, and she came down to answer the door when I got there and didn't know Casen would follow her, and he started falling and I ran up a little and tried to stop him. It was so sad. He's okay. He cried for a minute but then just wanted the toys he had dropped while he was falling. He screamed and reached for the toys and once he had them he stopped crying and went right back to playing. I'm so glad little kids are made of rubber at this age. Man, if that didn't put me into labor, I don't think anything will. This weeks sucks so far!! Everyone cross your fingers for me that something will happen this week!! Thanks!

I hope things work out. If they don't the way you want to it's because your baby wants to be with Heavenly Father just a little longer :)
i too hope for your sake that you have yours before i have mine. i'm not in any hurry & it sounds like you are getting pretty miserable. hopefully you'll get some good news thursday if you haven't gone on your own before then. good luck with everything & like always...we'll be waiting for some good news!
Oh poor little guy :( Well hope your baby comes soon, you sound like you are so uncomfortable.
Oh Alyssa, I feel so bad for you. I know you will just want to punch me in the face, but the bright side is, you really won't have to deal with the heat of the summer.
I know we are not really "friends" except through the gym, but if there is anything I can do for you, please just ask. I can take Casen for a day so you can just sleep if you would like!
Ugh Emmett fell down the stairs the other day at my mom's and got a bloody nose! I feel for ya! Yeah I sobbed to my doctor's face and it was like 2 weeks before my due date ha ha (I was just being a wuss, though) but I thought Emmett was going to stay in there permanently. Sometimes I wish I could put him back in there - he def wouldn't fit anymore! And last week S-U-C-K-E-D for me like none other before and this week has been good so just get to next week and maybe it will be much better! Hang in there!!
Oh man! I am feeling a lot like you are...UNCOMFORTABLE! I was hoping I would get on your blog and see some pictures of the new baby! Hang in there...GOOD LUCK!
I was hoping when I checked your blog today that you would have had him by now! I feel your pain...I was there just 6 days ago! I had my membranes stripped too (horrible pain) and then went speed-walking for an hour and 36 hours later, he decided to come out! So hang in there, I am sure it will be soon! I will keep checking for updates! Good luck! :)
Oh the end is the worst! Good luck with everything! Hopefully it will all happen soon. Can't wait to see pictures of him!
The end is tough. It is so hot for me, and I know being pregant adds degree's.Hang in there!
I think the crying will work wonders!!At least this one is a little smaller and hopefully delivery is that much easier too? i watched elizabeth fall down our stairs about a month ago, worst thing to watch. your heart seriously stops. it broke my heart but elizabeth held onto me as tight as she ever could after her fall, such a difference with boys and girls!!im excited to try the boy route this time. good luck with everything cant wait to see pics of him!!i hope he has as much hair as casen when hes born , that was just adorable!
