Dr. Said....

To jog more. My pregancy is really going well. I feel a lot better than I did when pregnant with Casen. I swear it's because I worked my abs so much before I got prego. I know thats what helps me to jog still. So lately when I jog, (which has only been twice a week) I will feel great, and keep a good pace, but when I stop or when I'm done my hip bones, or all bones in that area start to ache like a mother.... and I wonder if if I should be running anymore. Well, I was explaining this to Doc today and he said to try jogging a few more times a week and it might not ache as much, but he said to not stop jogging. So, it's a good thing I just learned how to download new songs to the ipod, cause music is my #1 motivation. Looks like I'll be jogging tonight, and in the morning and I'm hoping to be jogging in the Pat's run instead of walking it in a month. After this baby is out, I will be training for my first triathlon with Darin. I'm really looking forward to that. Jaime, anyone..... Are you in?

Casen & I will be headed to Showlow on Tuesday with my sister to her cabin and the husbands will join us later in the week. Looking forward to the cool weather and beautiful mountain scenery. I hope everyone has a safe and fun spring break!

Here are a few pics of what's been going on lately.

Casen found my empty Golden Spoon bowl and spoon and
was trying to eat some while hiding in a corner.
Always has either a book or ball in his hands.

Me at 31 weeks! 9 weeks to go!!

Alyssa, you look sooo good! I'm so proud of you and your jogging skills. I'm sure you'll put them to use once you are a momma of 2!

It amazes me how much you are able to do while pregnant. You go girl! I am planning on doing Pat's run. Who are you running with? I'd love to join you!

You look fabulous. Too bad you didn't come gain a Lb at girls night- the food was yummy! That happened to my hips prego too... I finally had to turn to the eliptical, which I find so BORING, but everything helps!

That is so awesome you are still jogging! You are inspiring me to not be so lazy and piggy with my next pregnancy. So, yeah, I don't know if all those Diet Coke addicts out there know just how much better Diet Dr. Pepper is, but it is truly the best!

Shoot! I do need to join you in the triathalon. However, I tried jogging this AM, and, well, I was ready to quit after 200 yards...HMMM...
I love the pic of Casen being sneaky with the Golden Spoon--he DOES have your genes, doesn't he?!

Of course I'm in for the triatholon. Count both Brett and I in actually...100% for sure. The training really is not that intense and it's just soooo doable. If you were to say 'marathon' I think I would be stressing a bit more. I don't know why but I don't think I'll ever actually do one...actually...I shouldn't say never b/c I don't know that. But totally a 1/2. Would you ever??
You look great Alyssa- your recovery this pregancy will be such a difference than with your first b/c of how much you are exercising. WAy to go girl...

You look really cute! I can't believe you are exercising so much. Good for you! I agree that your recovery will be so much better with this one. I'm jealous...I've been a lazy bum, and it shows.

You look great! I can't believe you are still jogging! I can manage the ellyptical, because it is easier on my joints when I am pregnant, but I don't think I could jog right now! I am planning on training for the Phoenix marathon after I have the baby...but I don't know about a triathlon...the swimming part would kill me I think!

Alyssa, way to go! I can't believe how far along you are now. You hardly look pregnant. It feels so good to excersize, especially with the creaking joints afterword :) I really liked swimming when I was that far along, because it was so relaxing (I felt like the baby and I were at one in the water, hehe)and it help my circulation and joints. And I love that you're doing a triathlon. It's a great motivator after the baby. Which one are you doing?
