New York!!

Brooklynn behind us

Crazy Busy Subway

Travis & Amber

Central Park right before it snowed

Us and Central Park about 45 minutes after it started snowing. It was coming down so hard.

Time Square

Of course we had to go to FAO.

Serendipidy & our yummy desserts

Rockefeller Center

Darin loved China town!

Amber & I in Dylan's Candy store. We loved that place!

19 weeks in NY!

I have one word... FREEZING!!! That's how the weather was. I'm so thanksful to live in AZ where you never have to wear more than a sweater in the winter. What a fun trip though. My legs are still sore from so much walking around. I loved all of the Christmas lights and decorations. There are some planters around the city with real Christmas trees in them and they smell amazing. Here are some of the great and not so great parts of the trip. Plus a picture overload. Enjoy!

Thums UP!:

The great food. Our favorites were Serendipidy, SaraBeth's, John's Pizza, & Dylan's Candy store (does that count as food?)

Rockelfeller Center & getting on the Today show on Friday. Me for a second and Darin for like 30 seconds. WE ARE FAMOUS!!

China town and all the funny CRAZY & SCARY people there. Great finds there too! We went there 3 times while in NY.

Seeing all of the beautiful buildings and architecture is amazing!

Starbucks hot cocoa to keep us warm while walking thought he city.

The light snow and rain didn't bother us. It was fun to experience that time of year in NY.

Mary Poppins was Fantastic! We both really enjoyed it. Phantom was good, but not really our fav.

The very interesting bus tours were helpful and full of great history and information. Funny and weird tour guides.

Loved seeing Central Park. So beautiful! We were just in time to see it before it got covered in snow.

Finally meeting up with Travis and Amber. They are so much fun to be with.

Our really nice Hotel, The Waldorf. We learned that Brad Pitt & his family live there right now. Didn't see them though.

Experiencing the Subway

Feeling the baby kick a lot.

Seeing the MET. It was amazing! We didn't get to see everything since it's so huge. My favorite was the paintings.

Thumbs down:

This one is for Krista Tanner: She reccomended this burger place to us called the Shake Shack. I was so excited to try it. Thursday night we planned on going there for dinner, so we hopped in a cab and we headed to Madison Square Park. We has to ask someone once we were there where it was and they pointed to the park and said, "It's in the park". We walked over to the park and see the Shake Shack. It is a free standing building with outside seating. No inside. Sadly we did not end up eatin gthere because it was snowing and raining and it being 30 degrees outside but I'm so sad I did not get to eat their amazing food. Maybe next time Krista! Thanks for the reccomendation!

Having to bundle up when going outside, then taking it all off inside then repeating over and over and over as many times you decide to go in or outside.

Walking through a Blizard on 5th ave & Central Park, not being able to see where I'm walking because the snow is hitting my face so hard, and my makeup is running down my face.

Getting a bad sore throught the second night we were there.

Getting a call in the middle of Phantom of the Opera that Casen is really sice with a fever and ear infection. So sad.

Crying throught the rest of Phantom because Casen is sick without his Momma.

Our friends missed their flight and couldn't get to NY until a day and a half later.

Worrying I might have lung cancer after all of the second hand cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke I inhaled!! I swear, everyone who lives there smokes, it's crazy!

Didn't get to see Statue of Liberty(even fromt he plane) or go to the top of the Empire State Building

Not being able to get tickets for Wicked so Amber and Travis could see it.

The kids infront of me on the flight there yellling and fighting the whole way. Then the 7 1/2 hour flight back due to winds.

I am so mad. I watch the Today show nearly every day for pretty much all 10 hours of it! Haha. But I didn't watch it on Friday. Boo!

Sounds and looks like an amazing trip!! (Minus your babe Casen getting sick while you were gone. That would drive me nuts!)

P.S. cute belly!

I am so glad that you guys had a good time. And I agree with the Belly... it looks so cute! I can't imagine how sad you were knowing Casen was sick, Braxton got really sick 2 weeks ago with the bad fever and everything and I wanted to cry and he was in my arms, I am sure you were so so happy to see that sweet boy!! Can't wait to catch up and hear all about it, however you did do a good job with the blog post!!
