I can't walk or sit down!
Darin & I started with our personal trainer on Monday, and let me just tell you that I have NEVER worked out like this before! I thought I was getting in a pretty good workout when I went the gym by myself, but this is a CRAZY good workout! I can definitely feel that it's working already( severely sore) and in no time I will be able to see results. My trainer, Jason, knows his stuff and I'm confident that he will help me to get my body looking like it never has. To brag about him a little, he was the only trainer is AZ asked to go to Beijing to help the athletes at the Olympics, but couldn't because of this new business. He used to be a trainer at 24 hour fitness where he trained Ali Vincent (The biggest Loser) when she was home during the show. He would still be trainer her if she hadn't moved to LA. The exercises that I do are different everyday. When you walk into the gym there is a big white board and he has written the daily workout. He posts it on their website everyday too. The workout is done in your time. When your done, you can leave, simple as that. Yesterday some people only took 15 minutes and they were done. (I took like 34 I think) Let me tell you a few of the benefits of going to this place. I love that you don't have to make an appointment. The past three days I have gone when it is convenient for me and there is always someone to watch Casen and train me too. The kids have their own room & space to play, plus infants have their own separate area from the kids, it's great. And KIDS ARE FREE!! There are showers there, and lockers, group workouts, and really nice people you can trust. (I feel like I'm missing something else I will add it in if I think of it later) If anyone is interested in trying it out, they are offering 10 free days. You just walk in ready to work out, he'll have you sign a 10 day contract with no money at all - totally free, and you can work out with him right away. And he is really good! Their website is www.competitivefitnessaz.com. It's so worth it. There are videos on the website, and I watched it today, and he's doing his own workout on there. It's pretty cool. I don't know if I'll ever want to work out any other way. If any of you are wanting to try something like this I challenge you to try it out for 10 days! You won't be disappointed. My first day at the gym, I met Darin down there at 6pm for our first workout together. Casen had been kind of cranky so I was a little worried that he would be fussy for whoever was going to be watching him. They greeted us at the door and made us feel welcome and took Casen so we could start our workout. There was a girl there (Trainer Jason's girlfriend) who was just loving Casen and asked if you could take him out of his car seat since he was crying. Darin and I were on the treadmill warming up, so we told her of course. She was holding him in the gym, where we could see him, and all of the sudden he starts throwing up. We jumped off of our treadmills and ran over. Casen's face looked so sick, and I felt so bad for this lady who was covered in barf. I took him and held him for a minute and the next thing I knew he barfed all over me too. A few minutes later he seemed to be okay, so they took him and watched him while we finished up our workout which was only like 30 minutes. Right after we were done they had said he threw up again, so we decided to take him to twilight peds. Turns out he had the stomach flu, poor guy. He did great all day yesterday and he's all better now. So that was part of our first new gym experience.
