FINALLY A NEW POST!!

My friend Jen Sherwood just told me, "It's time to update Alyssa". I know, but I haven't had a camera this weekend. I know thats no excuse either. So, Sorry there are no pictures, but heres what we've been up to.....
Darin went on an annual golf trip to Show low with the Company he works for and he took the camera with him. So I was unable to take pictures at both Friday and Saturday "Girls night out". Friday I went out with all of my friends who are the wives of my husbands friends. We went to Buca De Beppo, and then to see "Hairspray". They are all so fun and I wish I could see them more often. Saturday night was girls night with my good friends from my last ward in Mesa. I had them all come over since Darin was out of town and we talked and laughed and of course ATE for several hours. I just love those ladies!
Saturday afternoon I went to a Bridal Shower for Nylene Rasmusen, soon to be Ellingson. She is one of the sweetest most thoughtful people I've ever known. Congratulations Ny!!
Darin Had Lasik eye surgery today. He's so funny, I'm not even that bad of a driver, but he really seemed more nervous about me driving him home in his car than getting the actual surgery. Whatever!! He's so glad he doesn't have to wear glasses anymore. Even though he's only worn them for four years.
Last week I found out I had to get a root canal, and the Doc couldn't see me for a week, so I had to have him call me in a few strong pain prescriptions which helped a little. I still would wake up a few times in the night, anyway, it was horrible and I finally got the root canal yesterday and my doc took his time and i feel like brand new, not even sore. Plus he called me last night to check up and see if I was doing OK. Very thoughtful. He's a really great dentist if you are looking for one let me know I will be happy to give you his name :)!!
As far as baby news goes, she has been moving around a lot in there. It's fun to feel her all day. Darin felt her too. He got really excited.
